Broncos Sign DT Vance Walker To A Two-Year Deal

Dov Kleiman reports that the Broncos have signed DT Vance Walker to a two-year contract worth $5 million.

The Chiefs released Walker a few days ago in a move that freed up $1.75 million in cap space and helped them sign WR Jeremy Maclin to a huge contract.

Walker, 27, signed Walker to a three-year, $13 million contract with the Chiefs back in March of last year. He was set to make a base salary of $2,700,000 for the upcoming season.

In 2014, he appeared in all 16 games and recorded 17 tackles and two sacks for the Chiefs. Pro Football Focus has him down for playing 238 snaps last year, but he graded out as a very solid run-stopper last year.
