The Denver Broncos have signed fifth-round WR Isaiah McKenzie to a four-year contract on Monday, according to his agency.
McKenzie is the first player from the Broncos’ draft class to sign his rookie contract.
According to OverTheCap.com, McKenzie will receive a four-year contract worth $2,635,856 that includes a signing bonus of $235,856.
McKenzie, 22, was selected with the No. 172 overall pick by the Broncos in this year’s NFL Draft. Denver actually traded up with the Packers to get McKenzie in round five.
During his college career at Georgia, McKenzie caught 60 passes for 823 yards receiving and seven touchdowns over the course of 33 games. He also added another 329 yards rushing on 37 carries and four touchdowns. As a returner, MeKenzie totaled 1,065 yards and six touchdowns.
