The Denver Broncos have signed LB Joseph Jones off of the Seahawks’ practice squad on Tuesday and waived LB Kevin Snyder, according to Mike Klis.
Synder, 25, originally signed on with the Lions as an undrafted free agent out of Rutgers back in May of last year. He was waived during the preseason with an injury designation and later cut loose with an injury settlement in October.
Synder had a brief stint with the 49ers before signing on with the Patriots towards the end of last season. New England, unfortunately, cut Snyder loose at the start of the regular season with an injury settlement.
The Broncos brought Synder back on a future/reserve contract this past January only to cut him loose coming out of the preseason. He was briefly added to the Broncos’ practice squad before he was called up soon after.
Snyder has yet to appear in an NFL game.
Jones, 23, wound up signing a three-year, $1.66 million contract with the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent out of Northwestern back in May. He was set to make base salaries of $465,000 and $555,000 over the first two years of the contract when the Cowboys cut him loose coming out of the preseason.
After a brief stint on to the Chargers’ practice squad, he joined the Seahawks.
