Broncos Sign LB Quentin Gause & TE Steven Scheu To Practice Squad

The Denver Broncos officially signed LB Quentin Gause and TE Steven Scheu to their practice squad on Wednesday.

The Broncos’ practice squad now consists of:

  1. OL Dillon Day
  2. RB Juwan Thompson
  3. DT Kyle Peko
  4. CB Taurean Nixon
  5. OLB Vontarrius Dora
  6. TE Henry Krieger-Coble
  7. OL Justin Murray
  8. WR Kalif Raymond
  9. LB Quentin Gause
  10. TE Steven Scheu

Gause, 23, wound up signing a three-year, $1.62 million contract with the Eagles as an undrafted free agent out of Rutgers back in May. He was, unfortunately, unable to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason but was later signed to the Eagles’ practice squad.

Gause lasted just a day on Philadelphia’s practice squad before signing onto the Patriots’ taxi squad. He was waived a few weeks ago.

During his college career at Rutgers, Gause recorded 190 tackles, three sacks, a forced fumble, three recoveries and three pass defenses over the course of four seasons.
