Broncos Sign TE Cedrick Lang To Futures Deal

The Denver Broncos officially signed TE Cedrick Lang to a future/reserve contract on Friday.

The Broncos have now signed 14 players to futures deals since their season ended. The full list includes:

  14. TE Cedrick Lang

Future/reserve contracts are essentially an opportunity for players compete for a roster spot in offseason workouts and during training camp.

Lang wound up signing on with the Giants as an undrafted free agent out of UTEP back in May. He was unfortunately waived just a few days later and never caught on with another team during the season.

During his senior year at UTEP, Lang caught 11 passes for 72 yards receiving and one touchdown over the course of eight games.
