Broncos Sign TE Dominique Jones, Waive WR Nathan Palmer

According to Mike Klis of the Denver Post, the Denver Broncos signed TE Dominique Jones and waived WR Nathan Palmer from their practice squad.

Jones, who has some experience at the H-back position, signed as an undrafted free agent with the Indianapolis Colts in 2012.  He had stints with the Dolphins, Chiefs, and most recently, the Bills who released him in August.

Jones has three career catches in twelve NFL games.

Palmer was recently promoted to the 53-man roster when Wes Welker‘s suspension was implemented, but he always faced an uphill battle behind Denver’s talented array of receivers.
