Broncos Sign Third-Round RB Royce Freeman, Wrap Up Draft Class

The Denver Broncos have signed third-round RB Royce Freeman to a four-year rookie contract, according to Mike Klis.

Freeman, 22, was selected with the No. 71 overall pick by the Broncos in the third round of this year’s draft. According to OverTheCap.com, he receives a four-year, $3,457,020 contract that includes a $997,020 signing bonus.

During his four-year college career at Oregon, Freeman recorded 947 rushing attempts for 5,621 yards (5.9 YPC) and 60 touchdowns to go along with 79 receptions for 814 yards receiving (10.3 YPC) and four touchdowns.
