Broncos Signing G Jon Halapio To Their Practice Squad

 

Mike Garafolo reports that the Broncos are signing former Patriots 2014 sixth-round pick G Jon Halapio to their practice squad.

The Patriots released Halapio when final cuts were made at the end of training camp.

Halapio obviously failed to impress at Patriots camp, but the former Florida Gator does have some promise.  He dealt with a series of injuries during his college career that undoubtedly lowered his draft stock.

Taking a flyer on Halapio could pay off for Denver down the road.
