Broncos Officially Sign OT Ryan Harris

Update:

The Denver Broncos announced the signing of veteran OT Ryan Harris on Friday.

Adam Schefter and Jeff Legwold are reporting that the Broncos have agreed to terms with OT Ryan Harris.

  • Mike Klis mentioned that Harris was a name to keep an eye on for the Broncos.

This comes shortly after news broke that the Broncos lost Pro Bowl LT Ryan Clady to a torn ACL that could cost him the entire 2015 season.

Harris is a logical choice for the Broncos given that he has ties to new Broncos HC Gary Kubiak from their time together in Houston.

Harris, 30, was among the best available free agent offensive tackles. However, this is the first reported interest in him, so it’s not as though he was a hot commodity.

In 2014, Harris appeared in all 16 games for the Chiefs and was rated by Pro Football Focus as the No. 38 offensive tackle out of 84 qualifying players.

We had Harris featured in our Best Available Free Agents list.
