Broncos Signing WR Marlon Brown To One-Year Deal

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Broncos are signing former Ravens WR Marlon Brown to a one-year contract on Wednesday.

Brown has ties to the Broncos, considering that HC Gary Kubiak coached him while in Baltimore.

Brown, 25, wound up signing on with the Ravens as an undrafted free agent out of Georgia back in 2013. The Ravens elected to not tender him a restricted offer, but later re-signed him to a one-year, $675,000 contract back in March.

Unfortunately, Brown’s 2015 season ended after he suffered a back injury during Week 11 and was subsequently placed on season-ending injured reserve. Baltimore later waived him a few weeks after this year’s draft.

In 2015, Brown appeared in 10 games for the Ravens and recorded 14 receptions for 112 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
