Broncos Starting QB Brock Osweiler In Week 12

ESPN’s Chris Mortensen reports that the Broncos will keep Brock Osweiler in place as their starting quarterback for Week 12’s game against the Patriots.

This has been the expectation all along, as Peyton Manning is reportedly dealing with a number of injuries.

Last night, Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk reported that Manning Manning believes he’ll suit up again in 2016, but he wants to get back to where he was prior to their disappointing loss to the Chiefs.

Osweiler, 25, is in the final year of his four-year, $3.516 million rookie contract that included a $997,584 signing bonus. He’ll make a base salary of $660,000 for the 2015 season before becoming an unrestricted free agent next year.

This season, Osweiler has thrown for 396 yards while completing 66.7 percent of his passes to go along with three touchdowns and an interception.
