Broncos In Talks With C Matt Paradis About Extension

Mike Klis of 9News spoke with Brian McLaughlin, the agent for Broncos C Matt Paradis, who said that he has been in talks with Denver about a potential contract extension for his client.

“We’ve had conversations,” McLaughlin tells Klis.

Klis notes that the Broncos have previously looked to sign restricted free agents to extensions including LB Brandon Marshall in 2016 and K Brandon McManus last year.

Paradis, 28, is a former sixth-round pick of the Broncos back in 2014. He was waived at the start of his rookie season and later signed to their practice squad.

Denver brought Paradis back on an exclusive rights contracts the past two years and re-signed him to a one-year, $2.914 million restricted deal this past April.

In 2017, Paradis appeared in all 16 games for the Broncos and was rated by Pro Football Focus as the No. 8 center out of 36 qualifying players.
