Jeff Legwold of the Denver Post writes that Broncos will give RB DeAngelo Williams a “long look” once free agency can begin.
Earlier reports suggested that the team plans on using Knowshon Moreno as their third-down running back and will pursue a featured running back during free agency. Williams is by far the best available option at running back so if these reports are accurate, he would be the most logical option. He has said that he would like to return to Carolina but that’s by no means a lock.
Miami is said to have interest in him so they’re another option to consider.
