Broncos Waive DE Bobby Richardson

The Denver Broncos officially placed DE Bobby Richardson on waivers on Wednesday.

Richardson, 23, originally signed on with the Saints as an undrafted free agent out of Indiana in May of 2015. He managed to make their 53-man roster during his rookie season but was, unfortunately, cut loose coming out of the preseason last year.

The Redskins signed Richardson to their practice squad a week later but was eventually waived to make room for LB Carlos Fields. The Chiefs signed Richardson to their practice squad in November but his stay in Kansas City was short-lived.

The Broncos signed Richardson back in February, making his stay in Denver brief.

In 2015, Richardson appeared in 15 games for the Saints and recorded 40 total tackles, a half-sack, one interception and one pass defense.
