The Denver Broncos officially waived TE Nick Kasa with a non-football injury designation on Thursday along with DE George Uka.
Kasa, 25, is a former sixth-round pick of the Raiders back in 2013. He lasted just over two years in Oakland before he was waived shortly after last year’s NFL draft with a failed physical designation.
The Broncos signed him to their practice squad before the Super Bowl and brought him back on a future/reserve deal after the season.
In 2013, Kasa appeared in all 16 games for the Raiders and recorded a single reception for nine yards and a touchdown.
