Broncos Waive TE Richard Gordon

The Denver Broncos announced Wednesday that they have placed TE Richard Gordon on waivers.

Gordon, 28, was taken in the sixth round of the 2011 NFL Draft by the Raiders. He spent two years with Oakland before he was waived and later caught on with the Steelers.

The Chiefs re-signed him as an unrestricted free agent in March before later releasing him from injured reserve with a settlement.

Gordon signed with the Broncos back in October of last year before later catching on with the Ravens towards the end of the season. The Broncos elected to sign him to a future/reserve contract in January.

In 2015, Gordon appeared in one game, but didn’t recorded a single statistic.
