The Denver Broncos announced that they’ve waived OL Sam Brenner on Friday with injury designation.
Should Brenner clear waivers tomorrow, he would revert to the team’s injured reserve list.
Brenner, 26, originally signed on with the Dolphins as an undrafted free agent out of Utah back in 2013. Brenner was on and off of the Dolphins’ practice squad for the first few years in Miami.
Last year, the Dolphins waived Brenner in November and he was later claimed by the Broncos. Denver elected to bring Brenner back on a one-year, exclusive rights contract.
In 2015, Brenner was been active for three games.
