Broncos Worked Out QB Seth Lobato & LB J.R. Tavai

Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post reports that the Broncos are working out QB Seth Lobato and LB J.R. Tavai on Tuesday.

Lobato, 23, signed with the Colts as an undrafted free agent out of Northern Colorado back in May of last year. He lasted close to a month with the Colts before he was cut and later signed by the Dolphins.

The Buccaneers elected to sign him to a future/reserve contract in January, only to waive him at the start of the regular season.

At Northern Colorado he threw for 8,090 yards while completing 56.6 percent of his passes to go along with 53 touchdowns and 34 interceptions.

Tavai, 22, wound up signing on with the Titans as an undrafted free agent out of USC following this year’s NFL draft. He too was among the team’s roster cuts at the beginning of the season.
