Broncos Working Out DT Henry Melton

Jenna Laine of ESPN reports that the Broncos are bringing veteran DT Henry Melton for a workout on Sunday.

This comes after the team lost Vance Walker for the season and Derek Wolfe suffered an injury during practice last week.

Melton, 29, is a former fourth-round pick of the Bears back in 2009. The Bears used their franchise tag on Melton back in 2013, but allowed him to depart and sign on with the Cowboys as an unrestricted free agent the following years.

The Buccaneers elected to sign Melton to a one-year contract in May of last year, but this is the first reported interest in him since free agency opened several months ago.

In 2015, Melton appeared in all 16 games for the Buccaneers and recorded 30 tackles, two sacks, a forced fumble, two recoveries and two pass defenses.

We have him featured in our Best Available Free Agents list.
