Broncos WR Carlos Henderson Arrested For Marijuana Possession

Broncos WR Carlos Henderson was arrested and charged in West Monroe, LA Sunday afternoon with a first offense possession of marijuana, according to Aaron Dietrich.

The Broncos released the following statement regarding Henderson’s arrest: “We are aware of the issue involving Carlos Henderson and are gathering more information.

According to the police report, a GMC Yukon was driving at 84 MPH in a 60 MPH zone when he was pulled over by police.

Upon stopping the car, the arresting officer says there was a strong smell of marijuana coming from the vehicle. Henderson was a passenger in the vehicle but both he and the driver denied having any marijuana or smoking inside the vehicle.

The officers found “thick green residue” in Henderson’s mouth, and while he denied eating any marijuana before the traffic stop, he did admit to smoking earlier Sunday. Henderson later posted bond and was released from jail.
