The Cleveland Browns announced that Brandon Weeden will be their starting quarterback this season.
HC Rob Chudzinski told reporters that he wanted to see how Weeden would respond to being a part of a competition with Jason Campbell. Every indication as been that Weeden would ultimately walk away with the starting job.
Weeden has put together a very strong preseason so far. He’s completed 18-of-25 pass attempts for 229 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions.
The Browns could really surprise some people if Weeden is able to carryover this success to the regular season.
