Browns Bring Back RB Brandon Jackson

Albert Breer reports that the Browns have reached an agreement on a one-year deal with free agent RB Brandon Jackson.

Jackson, 27, signed a two-year deal worth $4.5 million with the Browns back in 2011 after helping the Packers win a Super Bowl title. He missed the entire first season because of a turf toe injury and only appeared in two games last season.

Cleveland currently has Trent Richardson atop their depth chart, with Montario Hardesty and Dion Lewis backing him. Jackson should provide some additional depth, but should be relegated to a third-down role.
