Browns Claim OL Anthony Fabiano & OL Avery Gennesy Off Waivers, Cut Two

The Cleveland Browns announced Tuesday that they’ve claimed OL Anthony Fabiano off of waivers from the Colts and OL Avery Gennesy from the Jaguars.

The Browns also placed P Michael Carrizosa and OL Christian Schneider on waivers.

Fabiano, 24, wound up signing a three-year, $1.62 million contract with the Ravens as an undrafted free agent out of Harvard back in May of 2016. He was, unfortunately, cut loose during the final week of the preseason and later signed on to the Browns’ practice squad.

Fabiano had brief stints with the Browns, Redskins and Patriots before the Colts signed him to their practice squad late last season and eventually called him up to their active roster. Indianapolis waived him on Monday.

In 2017, Fabiano was active for five games.
