Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Browns have claimed OT Zach Banner off of waivers from the Colts on Monday.
Banner was a surprising cut by the Colts, given that he was a top 150 pick a few months ago.
Banner, 23, was taken in the fourth-round of this year’s draft by the Colts. He’s currently in the first year of his four-year, $2.94 million contract and stands to make base salaries of $465,000 and $555,000 over the next two years of the agreement.
