Browns Cut Six Players

The Cleveland Browns announced Tuesday that they’ve cut six players including WR Evan Berry, OL Kevin Bowen, DL Marcell Frazier, OL Geoff Gray, K Ross Martin and TE Julian Allen (injured reserve).

Bowen, 24, wound up signing on with the Redskins as an undrafted free agent out of East Central back in 2016. Washington waived him with the injury designation during the 2016 preseason and he later reverted to their injured reserve.

Last year, the Redskins, once again, waived him with an injury designation and he spent the entire season on their injured reserve list. The Browns signed him to a contract last month.

During his senior year at East Central, Bowen was named to the 2015 All-Great American Conference First Team.
