Browns Haven’t Received Any Legit Trade Offers For No. 1 Pick

Browns GM John Dorsey tells Steve Wyche that they haven’t received any legit trade offers for the No. 1 overall.

As for who they will take at No. 1 overall, Dorsey said: “I haven’t even told my wife.”

Ian Rapoport adds that this is likely to remain the case, which means the Browns will end up using the first pick in the draft, as expected.

A report from earlier said that the Browns could be down to Josh Allen and Baker Mayfield at No. 1 overall, even though the consensus has been that Sam Darnold was likely to be the first to come off the board.

It’s possible that the Browns are leaking info to try to create a trade market for either No. 1 or No. 4 overall picks. However, it won’t come as a big surprise to the Browns ultimately stay at No. 1 and take a quarterback prospect.

We’ll have more regarding the Browns as the news is available.
