Kimberly A. Martin reports that free agent LB Demario Davis is visiting with the Browns and has drawn interest from other teams including the Jets.
This is the first reported visit for Davis since the market officially opened close to a week ago.
Davis, 27, is a former third-round pick of the Jets back in 2012. He has played out rookie contract and is testing the open market for the first time as an unrestrictred free agent.
In 2015, Davis appeared in all 16 games for the Jets and recorded 90 tackles, two sacks a fumble recovery, and two pass defenses. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 77 linebacker out of 97 qualifying players.
