The Cleveland Plain Dealer is reporting that the Browns DE Marcus Benard is expected to be out for the remainder of the NFL season because of a serious hand injury that suffered during a motorcycle accident on Monday.
The police report mentioned Benard was thrown 241 feet from his three-wheel motorcycle. Benard was operating the vehicle while his license was currently suspended which has brought upon charges of driving under a suspension and reckless driving.
The situation is somewhat reminiscent of former Browns TE Kellen Winslow who also missed an extended period of time after a motorcycle accident of his own.
