Browns Now Want To Increase Peyton Hillis’s Carries?

Cleveland Browns head coach Pat Shurmur mentioned that the Browns need to get Peyton Hillis more snaps and touches in coming weeks, per Mary Kay Cabot .

Yesterday Hillis and Montario Hardesty were part of a two-back rotation which led to Hillis getting the ball 15 times while Hardesty saw 12 touches.

The fact that the Browns have changed their tune regarding Hillis’s usage is a little strange considering how much has been made about limiting his carries. May Cleveland has decided that they’re going to get the most out of him since they’re unable to reach an longterm contract agreement.

The Browns next opponent will be the Oakland Raiders, who aren’t exactly the best run defense, in Week 6.
