Browns Options For Offensive Coordinator

There was very little to be excited about this season when it came to the Cleveland Browns moving the ball. The Browns finished the 2011 season #29 in total yards and #30 scoring which has prompted Mike Holmgren to start the search for an offensive coordinator.

Tony Grossi of the Cleveland Plain Dealer wrote yesterday that Mike Sherman could be an option and ESPN’s Chris Mortensen brought up former Minnesota Vikings head coach Brad Childress‘s name a few days ago.

Two other options that have been mentioned are Eagles quarterbacks coach Doug Pederson and current Browns quarterback coach Mark Whipple.

It’s hard to see any of the options not helping the teams offense next season considering how bad they were this year.
