Browns Place OL Austin Reiter On I.R. & Waive OL Anthony Fabiano

The Cleveland Browns announced that they’ve placed OL Austin Reiter on injured reserve with a knee injury and waived OL Anthony Fabiano to make room for OL Jonathan Cooper, who was claimed off of waivers.

Reiter, 24, is a former seventh-round pick of the Redskins back in May of last year. He was unable to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason last year but was later signed to the team’s practice squad.

Washington elected to bring Reiter back on a future/reserve contract this past January and he was able to crack the 53-man roster this year. However, the Redskins waived Reiter before adding him to their practice squad a few weeks ago.

The Browns signed him off of the Redskins’ practice squad a week later.
