Browns Prepared To “Make A Play” For Packers QB Matt Flynn?

Steve Doerschuk of the Canton Repository reports that the Cleveland Browns “will make a play” for Packers QB Matt Flynn at some point within the next month.

Doerschuk mentions that he has spoken with the Browns but concedes that they’re only going to have interest at the right price. He adds that the Dolphins should still be viewed as the favorites for Flynn.

What’s interesting about the Browns interest in Flynn is that, it would have immediate repercussions on the overall quarterback market and even the Rams ability to trade their #2 overall pick. This is likely why reports have mentioned that they’ve already begun shopping the pick to interested teams.
