ESPN’s Chris Mortensen reports Browns QB Brandon Weeden is undergoing an MRI on his sprained right thumb.

Weeden had X-rays taken after the game, which ultimately came back negative, but the fact that this injury is to his throwing hand suggests that it could cost him a game.

HC Rob Chudzinski wouldn’t say whether or not they would turn to Jason Campbell if Weeden forced to sit out of their Week 3 match up against the Vikings.
