Browns RB Dion Lewis Suffers Fractured Fibula

Mary Kay Cabot reports that Browns RB Dion Lewis suffered a fractured fibula during Thursday’s preseason game against the Lions.

Lewis was expected to be the team’s No. 2 running back with Brandon Jackson and Chris Ogbonnaya competing with the for a single roster spot. Montario Hardesty is also dealing with multiple injuries, so there are a lot of question marks behind Trent Richardson.

Lewis has looked great since joining the Browns following his release from the Eagles. Hopefully, he will be able to fully recover in time for next year’s training camp.
