Browns Re-Sign OT Austin Pasztor

The Cleveland Browns officially re-signed OT Austin Pasztor on Tuesday to a one-year deal.

The Browns elected to use an original-round tender on him a few weeks ago, which gave them the right of first refusal had he received an offer from another team. However, they would not have received compensation for Pasztor if they didn’t match the offer.

The low-round tender will cost the Browns $1,671,000 for the 2016 season.

Pasztor, 25, wound up signing on with the Vikings as an undrafted free agent out of back in 2012. He lasted just a few months in Minnesota before signing on to the Jaguars’ practice squad.

The Browns wound up claiming him off of waivers from the Jaguars at the start of the 2015 season.

In 2016, Pasztor was active for all 16 games and played 301 snaps in 2015, according to Pro Football Focus.
