Browns Re-Sign WR Kasen Williams To Practice Squad

The Cleveland Browns announced Saturday that they’ve re-signed WR Kasen Williams to their practice squad on Saturday after he passed through waivers unclaimed.

The Browns’ practice squad now consists of:

  1. DB C.J. Smith
  2. DE Tyron Holmes
  3. WR Bug Howard
  4. LB Austin Calitro
  5. WR Rannell Hall
  6. OT Andrew Wylie
  7. OT Victor Salako
  8. OT Korren Kirven
  9. RB Josh Rounds
  10. WR Kasen Williams

Williams, 25, originally signed on with the Seahawks as an undrafted free agent out of Washington back in May of 2015. He was on and off Seattle’s practice squad before being waived as the team trimmed their roster down to the 53-man limit coming out of the preseason.

Williams was claimed off of waivers by the Browns before they elected to cut him loose a few days ago to make room for Corey Coleman.

In 2017, Williams has appeared in seven games for the Browns and caught nine passes for 84 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
