Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk, citing a league source with knowledge of the situation, reports that the Browns have begun reaching out to football executives about potentially joining their front office.

As of now, the 0-6 Browns are currently without a general manager and have Sashi Brown operating as their VP of football operations and former baseball executive Paul DePodesta in place as the team’s chief strategy officer.

Florio says it’s unclear whether any changes would be made during the season or whether there could also be some people let go.

There has been talk around the league about the quality of the Browns’ roster, despite the fact that they’ve had really good draft picks to work with and a ton of cap space since this current regime was brought in a few years ago. Beyond that, the fact that the Browns have passed on a number of young quarterbacks including Deshaun Watson, Carson Wentz and Dak Prescott the past few years has also draw a lot of recent criticism for how they’ve handled the most important position.

We’ll have more regarding potential changes to the Browns’ front office as the news is available.
