The Cleveland Browns officially released WR Saalim Hakim on Friday.
This comes just a few days after the Browns signed to a contract.
Hakim, 26, originally signed on with the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent out of Tarleton State back in 2012. He lasted just a few months in Dallas before he was waived at the start of the season.
Since then, Hakim has had brief stints witht he Rams, Saints, Jets, Lions and most recently with the Chiefs.
In 2015, Hakim appeared in two games, but did not record a single statistic.
