Browns Releasing LB Jayson DiManche

Adam Caplan of ESPN reports that the Browns are releasing LB Jayson DiManche on Monday.

DiManche will need to pass through waivers before he can sign on with a team of his choosing.

DiManche, 24, originally signed on with the Bengals as an undrafted free agent out of Southern Illinois back in 2013. He was waived/injured during the first round of roster cuts and eventually released from injured reserve with a settlement.

The Browns wound up signing DiManche off of the Bengals practice squad a few weeks ago.

This season, DiManche has appeared in one game, but didn’t record a single statistic.

Last year, DiManche appeared in 14 games for the Bengals and recorded 11 tackles and a forced fumble before he was placed on season-ending injured reserve with a broken forearm.
