Browns Release OL Jason Pinkston With Injury Settlement

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the Browns have reached an agreement with OL Jason Pinkston on an injury settlement and are releasing him.

“More than likely I’ll have to retire,” Pinkston texted Schefter this afternoon. “The Browns were great working with me and I would love to thank GM Ray Farmer and Owner Jimmy Haslam for my opportunity here in Cleveland. It’s been an honor to be apart of the organization and city.”

Pinkston, 26, is dealing with blood clots for the second time in his career and it appears as though it will force him to walk away from the game.

Cleveland used a fifth-round pick on Pinkston back in 2011. He has appeared in 25 games for the Browns over the course of his three years in the NFL.
