Browns Rule Out RB Peyton Hillis For Week 12

Cleveland Browns head coach Pat Shurmur has ruled out RB Peyton Hillis for Sunday’s game which happens to be the third straight Monday in a row that he has done so, per Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain-Dealer.

Hillis had been dealing with a hamstring injury that he re-injured a few weeks back but it seems as though the Browns have decided to move on without him. The strained relationship has left him as an afterthought in Cleveland and he is not expected to be back. Reports have already suggested the Browns would rather allow him to leave via free agency than commit the kind of money that he’s reportedly seeking to a player that hasn’t been able to remain healthy for more than one NFL season.

Montario Hardesty and Chris Ogbonnaya will handle the teams carries in the coming weeks.
