The Cleveland Browns announced Wednesday that they’ve signed DB Channing Stribling to their practice squad.
The Browns’ practice squad now consists of:
- TE J.P. Holtz
- LB Deon King
- RB Terrence Magee
- DB Najee Murray
- LB B.J. Bello
- OL Travis Averill
- WR Rashard Higgins (Exception)
- CB Darius Hillary
- S Kai Nacua
- DB Channing Stribling
Stribling, 22, wound up signing a three-year, $1.66 million contract with the Browns as an undrafted free agent out of Michigan back in May. He was set to make base salaries of $465,000 and $555,000 over the first two years of the contract when the Browns cut him loose last weekend.
During his college career at Michigan, Stribling recorded 69 tackles, one sack, a forced fumble, six interceptions with one being returned for a touchdown and 15 pass defenses over the course of 36.
