Browns Sign Fourth-Round LB Joe Schobert

The Cleveland Browns announced Friday that they have officially signed fourth-round LB Joe Schobert to a four-year deal.

This leaves third-round DE Carl Nassib as the only draft pick who has yet to sign their rookie for the Browns.

Schobert was taken with the No. 99 overall pick by the Browns over a month ago. Schobert was very productive as an edge rusher at Wisconsin, but there has been talk that he may have to move inside to secure a job at the next level.

According to OverTheCap.com, Schobert receives a four-year contract worth $2,973,956 to go along with a signing bonus of $633,956.

During his college career at Wisconsin, Schobert recorded 154 tackles, 33.5 tackles for a loss, 13 sacks, six forced fumbles, two recoveries, an interception and 10 pass defenses over the course of three seasons.
