Browns Sign OL Kevin Bowen, Waive OL Victor Salako

The Cleveland Browns announced Monday that they’ve signed OL Kevin Bowen and placed OL Victor Salako on waivers.

Bowen, 24, wound up signing on with the Redskins as an undrafted free agent out of East Central back in 2016. Washington waived him with the injury designation during the 2016 preseason and he later reverted to their injured reserve.

Last year, the Redskins, once again, waived him with an injury designation and he spent the entire season on their injured reserve list.

Bowen worked out for the Falcons back in May but wasn’t signed to a contract following the session.

During his senior year at East Central, Bowen was named to the 2015 All-Great American Conference First Team.
