Browns Sign OL Ryan Lee

The Cleveland Browns signed OL Ryan Lee Wednesday.

Lee signed as an undrafted free agent out of Furman with the Steelers back in 2012.  He landed on their practice squad before being released and fielding the same role with the Saints.

Lee later caught on with the Rams in 2013, but was waived with an injury settlement before the season began.

The Browns could certainly use some depth at guard, which is the weakest spot on their offensive line. Rookie Joel Bitonio will likely man the left guard position, with John Greco on the right.  The reserve positions however, are largely up for grabs.

Lee should be a fit for the new zone blocking scheme preferred by Offensive Coordinator Kyle Shanahan.
