ESPN’s Adam Schefter is reporting that the Browns and punter Britton Colquitt have agreed to terms on a new four-year contract.

Colquitt, 31, wound up signing on with the Broncos as an undrafted free agent out of Tennessee back in 2009. He was in the final year of his four-year, $13.023 million contract and set to make a base salary of $3.25 million for the 2016 season when he was released by the Broncos coming out of the preseason last year.

The Browns later signed him to a one-year contract before the start of the regular season.

In 2016, Colquitt appeared in all 16 games for the Browns and totaled 3,385 yards on 83 attempts (40.78 YPA) and two touchbacks.

We’ll have the contract details posted as they’re available.
