Adam Caplan of TheSidelineView.com reports that the Cleveland Browns have signed former Cardinals QB Brian Hoyer to a two-year contract.
- Caplan adds that Hoyer’s deal does include guaranteed money.
Hoyer, 27, has only started one game in his entire career, and it’s unlikely that he’ll see any playing time in 2013, as he’s currently behind QB Brandon Weeden and QB Jason Campbell on the team’s depth chart.
The Browns were believed to have interest in Hoyer a few months ago, so it’s not all that surprising that they would bring him in at this point in the offseason.Â
