Browns Sign RBs Jalen Parmele & Timothy Flanders, Waive Two

The Cleveland Browns announced the signing running back Jalen Parmele and Timothy Flanders to a contracts on Monday.

  • In addition, the club waived WR Kevin Cone and DB Brandon Stephens.

Parmele, 29, is a former sixth-round pick of the Miami Dolphins. The Ravens later signed him off of the Dolphins’ practice squad and kept him around for three years.

Since 2012, has played for the Jaguars and Titans before signing on with the Cardinals as a free agent back in May of last year.

In 2014, Parmele appeared in just single game for the Cardinals and had one rush for zero yards.

Flanders, 23, originally signed on with the Sants as undrafted free agent out of Sam Houston State back in 2014. During his college career, he ran for  5,664 yards and 66 touchdowns.
