Browns Sign WR Ed Eagan, Waive/Injured WR Rannell Hall & Reach Settlement With DL Kyle Rose

According to Nate Ulrich, the Browns have signed WR Ed Eagan, waived/injured WR Rannell Hall and reached an injury settlement with DL Kyle Rose.

Eagan, 23, is an undrafted free agent out of Northwestern State that originally signed on with the Cowboys back in May. Unfortunately, Dallas decided to waive him last week to make room for OL Mike McQueen.

During his college career, Eagan recorded 175 receptions for 2,229 receiving yards (12.7 YPC) with 13 touchdowns. He also rushed the ball 12 times for 65 rushing yards (5.4 YPC).

Rose, 23, wound up going undrafted out of West Virginia back in May, but later signed on with the Browns as a rookie free agent. Cleveland elected to waive him last week to make room for DL Chigbo Anunoby.

During his four-year college career at West Virginia, Rose recorded 153 tackles, five sacks, a fumble recovery, and three pass defenses.
