Browns Signing LB Jayson DiManche Off Chiefs’ Practice Squad

Adam Caplan of ESPN reports that the Browns are signing LB Jayson DiManche off of the Chiefs’ practice squad on Tuesday.

DiManche, 24, signed on with the Bengals as an undrafted free agent out of Southern Illinois back in 2013. He was waived/injured during the first round of roster cuts and eventually released from injured reserve with a settlement.

Since becoming available, DiManche had worked out for several teams including the Browns, Jaguars, Redskins, Colts and Patriots before signing to the Chiefs’ practice squad last week.

In 2014, DiManche appeared in 14 games for the Bengals and recorded 11 tackles and a forced fumble before he was placed on season-ending injured reserve with a broken forearm.
